Central Rentals’ CP200d walkies have an incredible range. In fact, one of our customers reported to us that they transmitted successfully for a line-of-sight distance of 7 miles during a shoot along the Oregon coast.

However, in some cases you need to be assured of a longer range than our best battery operated radios can handle. Our 25W CM200d Base Stations can transmit up to 5x further that our walkies.

Connect Your Crews Easily And Efficiently

Our base stations are ideal for keeping your crew reliably connected so they can communicate, coordinate and collaborate, whether you’re shooting on long winding roads, or just spread out across town.

Our base stations are capable of being powered by either a standard AC outlet, or a standard 12v cigarette lighter receptacle. They each a magnetic antenna mount, which means you can attach your antenna to a vehicle without the need to drill holes- making installation quick and easy. A rubber boot is attached to the magnetic mount to prevent scratching and includes 12 feet of cable.

Note: While your walkies will be able to receive the transmissions from the base station, they will not be able to transmit the same distance, so order more than one base station for two-way long distance communication.
